Adult Learn to Row
The adult learn to row is a great opportunity to see what your kids are doing OR check out those “crazy big boats” you see on the river driving home from work each day. Rowing is an excellent life long sport that anyone can enjoy, regardless of your experiences. You do not have to be a conditioned athlete to participate. The adult LTR will gradually introduce you to the sport in a very relaxing and laid back format. You will leave the water feeling relaxed, accomplished and looking forward to your next session. This program is open to anyone, whether you have kids rowing with Burnt Hills or have never heard of us before. This is definitely a program you are going to want to try. It may just be something that will stick with you.

Experienced Adult Rowers
The experienced adult program is for adults who have previous experience rowing in high school or college or completed the Learn to Row class. We meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8pm starting Mid to late April and runs into late September. The program is split into 2 different sessions (a spring session & a summer/fall session) with registration in either session being independent of the other. You can choose to participate in one or the other…or both if you are hooked on it. This is a great opportunity to work on your rowing skills as well as get a decent workout at the same time. Participants will have the option to compete at various regattas throughout the summer and fall, on a totally optional basis.
Our Summer session will begin Wednesday, July 5th. We will row Monday and Wednesday evenings 6-8pm.
We are offering a special discounted fee, for parents of High School and Middle School Rowers enrolled in spring 2017 and/or summer 2017 rowing programs. The summer session fee for Parents will be $200.
Summer Session 2017:
– Begins 7/5/17 and ends 9/20/17
– Cost: $250 per rower or $200 if you are a parent of currently enrolled h.s./m.s. rower.
Please make checks payable to Burnt Hills Rowing Association.
Please fill out the 2017 Summer Registration form and the 2017 U.S. Rowing Waiver. If you have already filled out the 2017 U.S. Rowing waiver you do not need to do so again.
