During the recent hurricane Irene severely affected the dock and it is now necessary to start a new construction.
The total cost for the new construction will amount to USD 20.000. Burnt Hills Rowing will rely on sponsors to raise
this money before a new dock can be built. Volunteers have made a temporary dock that will be used for the
fall season of 2011. Please do not hesitate to contact the club to see how you can help.

Recently we had our dedication ceremony for our two new eights the Christpher R. Goody and Chrisgo5. At the ceremony we had a chance to say thank you to the Goody family for all they have done for Burnt Hills Rowing.

The offical results from the NY State Champtionships for
Saturday and Sunday are now online. Girls Senior 8+, 5th overall, 3rd scholastically; Boys Junior 8+, 4th; Boys Junior 4+, 6th. Congratulations to all! Best wishes to all rowers that will go to Nationals!

The offical results from the Sect 2 Championships for Modified and Varsity are now online. Congratulations to all! In particular we would like to note that the Boys Freshman 4 and the Girls Freshman 8 won their class. We wish all rowers all the best for States!
Everybody just returned from spring training and it has been as much of a great adventure as a success. We would like to thank chaperones and coaches. All rowers are highly motivated and are looking forward to an exciting spring season.
