Gift Cents Gift Card Program


We are once again offering this fundraising program that works while you shop. This is not a mandatory fundraiser, but one that we hope you will use and promote to your family and friends.

Simply purchase gift cards from stores where you normally shop; or restaurants where you normally eat, buy items which you would normally buy and spend what you would normally spend. Just get them through our program, instead of on your own.

When you purchase gift cards to your favorite stores at face value, you will receive dollar-for-dollar value; spend $10 and receive a $10 gift card. You can use them to make purchases or give as gifts. Our organization receives a percentage of every dollar you spend!

As an example, if you know you will be shopping at a particular store(s), going out to eat at a restaurant, or will get gift cards as gifts in the near future, purchase them through us. It costs you nothing extra and we make money!

Special Fundraising Event

Although these images are no longer in the news we are still struggling to deal the impact strom Irene had on our area. The tormenting water masses destroyed the original dock. The new construction will cost more than USD 20.000. The club has started a fundraising campaign for the new construction.

Garage Sale - THANKS!

Thank you to all who donated sale items and sent monetary donations. Extra thanks to the many workers who donated hours of their time over the past 2 weeks to make the garage sale successful. The sale made $1199.85! My original goal was $1000 and we raised 20% more than the goal.The donations so far total $600. Together we raised $1800 toward the docks. This is close to 10% of the total needed. I'm very happy at the success of this fund raiser. Congratulations to the Shen and Burnt Hills Masters.

The fall season is under way and the current schedule is posted. Please contact head coach Mike Meiers for information.

2011 Masters Learn to Row Program

Adult Learn to Row classes now forming at Burnt Hills Rowing Association, 801 Maritime Drive Alplaus. If you are 18 or 80, have fun while getting a full body workout on the Mohawk River. Lessons Tue & Thurs 6-8 pm starting May 24, ending June 23. Discounted cost is $80 for parents of BHRA rowers.
