Fall Season

Competitive High School Program

The high school program is for 9- 12th students (and select 8th graders). Students are not required to attend BHBL to participate in the fall season. During the fall we row as a combined club team with athletes from Burnt Hills, Shen, Schenectady and Scotia as the Erie Canal Athletic Club (ECAC).

September 5 – October 31

5 days per week – 3:30 – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday (Freshman and novice high school rowers)
6 days per week – 3:30 – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday; Saturday, times TBD (experienced 10-12th grade rowers)

Fee includes uniform, orders must be placed by Thursday, September 7.

Middle School Program

The middle school program is for 7-8th grade students. Students are not required to attend BHBL to participate in the fall season. During the fall we row as a combined club team with athletes from Burnt Hills, Shen, Schenectady and Scotia as the Erie Canal Athletic Club (ECAC).

3 days per week – 4 – 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday

Fee includes tuition and performance tank. T shirt sizing included in TeamSnap

Registration Steps:
  1. Online RegistrationPlease register through TeamSnap, https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/394757
  2. Online USRowing Waiver: BHRA athletes must join USRowing Basic Membership each year and complete an online waiver. As of 2016, there is an administrative fee payable to USRowing for the basic membership. Our club code for USRowing is XA7BH.
  3. Paper Authorization for Medical Treatment of Minors Form [PDF]: Please hand to coach on first day with original parent/guardian signature. This form is also available to download within TeamSnap registration.

General BHRA Program Details:

All payments must be received prior to participation.  Credit card/ACH is accepted through the TeamSnap registration process.  We do offer the opportunity to pay by check or for flexible payment options. Please contact the Treasurer with any questions.

BHRA is a member-run organization; therefore, each family will be required to provide volunteer time during the Fall and Spring seasons.  Contact the Volunteer Coordinator with any questions.

Important announcements and news will be communicated through our blog pages.  The BHRA blog is located at bhrowing.wordpress.com.  From there, you can access blog pages for each of the squads.  Race schedules and results will be posted on the blog.
