 SPRING 2024 REGISTRATION

Practices begin March 11th.

Open to 7th-12th grade students, no experience necessary!

If you know of a family or have a friend who wants to get involved in rowing, please encourage them to do so!

Squad Options this Spring:

  1. Varsity (all experienced HS rowers grades 10-12).  $650.  6 days per week.  M-F 3:30-6pm, Saturday practice time TBD.
  2. HS Freshman/Novice (all experienced freshman and new HS rowers).  $600.  5 days per week. M-F 3:30-6pm.
  3. Middle School (all MS rowers, experienced or new, grades 7-8).  $450.  4 Days per week, M/T/Th/F (Weds off) 3:30-6pm.
HS Season End: 5/20 (may extend for post season qualifiers)
MS Season End: 6/1 (anticipated)

Costs do not include hotel and food for Stotesbury Cup (HS only)

Schedule:

  • Docks In 3/9 or 3/10
  • BHBL Spring Start 3/11
  • March 29-31st OFF for Easter
  • Spring Break Training (2 per day at BHRA) 4/1- 4/6
  • Ideal Scrimmage Dates 4/13 and 4/20
  • Saratoga Invite 4/27 – 4/28
  • States 5/11 – 5/12
  • Stotesbury Cup 5/17 – 5/18 (leave after school Thursday 5/16) Philly
  • Scholastic Nationals 5/23 – 5/25 (miss school Thursday and Friday) Camden, NJ *select qualifying crews*
  • USRowing Youth Nationals 6/5 – 6/9 (travel Tuesday 6/4) Sarasota, FL *select qualifying crews*

Paperwork in addition to Registration through TeamSnap:

  1. Online USRowing Waiver: BHRA athletes must join USRowing Basic Membership each year and complete an online waiver. New in 2016, there is now an administrative fee payable to USRowing for the basic membership. Our club code for USRowing is XA7BH.
  2. Paper Authorization for Medical Treatment of Minors Form [PDF]: Please hand to coach on first day with original parent/guardian signature. This form is also available to download within TeamSnap registration.
  3. Online School Registration:  Must be completed and approved by March 8th to participate.

General BHRA Program Details:

All payments must be received prior to participation.  Credit card/ACH is accepted through the TeamSnap registration process.  We do offer the opportunity to pay by check or for flexible payment options. Please contact the Treasurer with any questions.

BHRA is a member-run organization; therefore, each family will be required to provide volunteer time during the Fall and Spring seasons.  Contact the Volunteer Coordinator with any questions.
